Hansel and Gretel

Once there was a poor woodcutter who had two children, Hansel and Gretel. He loves them so much.
The woodcutter's second wife wanted him let the children be left in the forest because they had nothing to eat any more.

The woman did not stop nagging him until he gives in to her wishes.
Hansel gathered some pebbles. The next day, he dropped each pebble on the road where they passed through the woods.

Because of the pebbles, the two managed to be back home. Their stepmother got mad. They were given small pieces of bread and were locked inside a small room.
They used the pieces of bread as markers, but the birds ate the bread, so they got lost on their way home.

While searching for a way back home, they saw a house made of chocolate, candies and other tasty pastries. The two kids were busy eating when an old lady invited them to go inside the chocolate house.

The old lady happened to be a witch. She locked Hansel inside so that he would grow fast and eat him later. Gretel was forced to do household chores. The lady had poor vision. She thought Hansel was not getting any fatter. She asked Gretel to check if the over was ready.

Seizing the opportunity, Gretel pushed the witch inside the oven. She then unlocked Hansel. They found many treasures inside.

The woodcutter asked forgiveness from his children. Their stepmother had died. They become very rich and lived happily.

The End
