Alice in Wonderland

One sunny morning, Alice was sitting under a tree with her sister who was reading a book. She had nothing to read and was bored. Suddenly a White Rabbit came running by, saying, "I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!" and he took his watch out of his pocket to look at the time. "Mr. Rabbit, please wait! I'll come with you!" cried Alice, running after him.

When the Rabbit went down a hole, Alice went down after him. The hole was very deep and Alice keep on falling. "Am I in the middle of the earth now?" She asked herself. On the way she saw many thing- maps, books, toys, and a mirror. "Which ever country I'm going to, I must be ready to say Hello to the people!" she thought. Alice catch a mirror and a hair brush and brush her hair.

Thump! Alice landed at the button of the hole just in time to see the White Rabbit disappearing through a little door. She looked around and found she was in a big hole. She tried to squeeze through the little door too, but she was too big to get inside the door. She begun to cry. Then, she found a bottle with a label saying, "DRINK ME." She did so suddenly started drinking! She grew smaller and smaller until she found her self standing in a pool made by her tears. In the pool, Alice encountered many strange creatures.

A dodo, a duck and a mouse said hello to her and swam around her. Then they all climbed onto the bank and played a game with Alice. First, they drew a circle and then ran round and round until they where completely dry. Then the Whit Rabbit came running by. "Oh dear! I have left my gloves and fun at home," said the Rabbit, looking very upset. The White Rabbit went into his house and Alice followed.

Once inside the house Alice could not find the White Rabbit but she did find another little bottle labelled, "DRINK ME". So, she drank some and then, to her surprise, she got taller and taller again. She grew until until she hit the celling. Now, she could get out of the house. But, poor Alice was terrified when a puppy barked at her, because, now, even a puppy was so much bigger that she was.

She ran away. Looking up she saw a Cheshire Cat perched up in a tree, grinning at her. "Don't laugh, Cheshire Puss!" she said. "Would you tell me which way the Rabbit went?" The Cat said, "asked the Mad Hatter and the march Hare over there."

She ran and come to a beautiful garden when she heard "Oompah- pah!" announcing the arrival of the Queen of Heart. The Queen looked cross but Alice bravely asked , "Your Majesty, could you tell me the way home?" The Queen said, "the Gryphon will take you."

Alice went to the shore to see the Gryphon. He said, "Ask the Mock Turtle." So she visited the Mock Turtle, who said, "Ask the Judge." Alice walking in the direction which the Cat had pointed out with his tail.

Soon she heard chattering voices. They came from a long table where the Mad Hatter and the March Hare where having a tea party with a Dormouse. Alice asked them about the Rabbit. The Hatter said, "That's a very good question. How about some tea and cake?"
But all she could see were empty cups and plates. She said goodbye to the Mad Hatter and the March Hare and hurried away. A trial was going on in the court. The Queen judging Knave of Hearts was 'guilty' or 'not guilty'.

The poor knave was being questioned because of the song: The Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts all on a summer's day. The Knave of Hearts, he stole those tarts and took them clean away. The Mad Hatter said, "I have seen the Knave eating the Queen's tarts." The Queen exclaimed, "Off with his head!"

Alice angrily shouted at the Queen, "What absolute nonsense! You are being ridiculous!" As Alice shouted with all her might, her body grow bigger and bigger. "Off with her head!" Screamed the Queen. The next moment the playing cards, who were the Queen's Guards, started attacking Alice.

"Stop it!" Alice shouted. All the playing cards flow up into the air and showered down on Alice. As she was trying to beat them off she saw the White Rabbit running away. She tried to ran after him but was blinded by the shower of cards.

"Oh, I will never get home!" She sobbed. "Wake up, Alice! Wake up!" said her sister. "What are you brushing away? You're having a bad dream!" Alice woke up and found leaves falling down upon her, just as the cards had. "Oh, it was just all a dream! I'm back home," she said. "Come along dear. It's time for tea," said her sister.
